Putin underscored that Russian-Chinese relations are not directed against any specific country but are aimed at promoting stability in global affairs. He stressed that together, they are defending the principles of fairness and a democratic world order grounded in multipolar realities.

Despite these claims, many in the West view Russia and China’s actions as counter to the democratic ideals they claim to defend.
